March 19–Lebanon and Mt. Juliet homeowner’s insurance costs rank among the lowest in the state, according to a recent study.

The study, conducted by online analysis provider ValuePenguin, concluded Lebanon’s home insurance rates are the 11th lowest in the state and Mt. Juliet’s rates are the 29th lowest.

ValuePenguin focused the study on home insurance prices for a $ 200,000 house measuring 2,000 square feet as a benchmark in 69 locations throughout the state.

The average annual homeowners cost for the group’s sample property in the state was $ 1,715 per year, with the highest and lowest average annual costs differing by almost $ 1,000.

The group reported Lebanon’s average home insurance cost around $ 1,492 and Mt. Juliet’s around $ 1,620, differences of $ 222 and $ 95 from the national average, respectively.

The group recorded Johnson City with the cheapest costs at $ 1,344 and Memphis with the most expensive at $ 2,302.
